It's been over a year now since I spoke to you. I wanted to thank you for introducing me to Debra Jean (DJ) last year on July 31 at the Duck Club in Lafayette. We have been dating for over year now and I'm happy to announce that we are officially engaged to be married. Our marriage is set for June. I am very much in love with DJ and I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her.

We just returned from our wedding, Nov 20th in Bermuda - here is a beach wedding photo that really captures our love.

I cannot thank you enough! We met on one of your adventure evenings visiting various night clubs last January. We have been together ever since. I met him only 22 days after Joining Table For Six®, so it was meant to be.

Hi Monica,

John and I met on a Table For Six® hike in Marin on February 29th. We never would have met at a dinner, since he was a member of the Walnut Creek group, while I went to the San Francisco dinners. Luckily, T46 also has monthly activities to bring these groups together! We hit it off famously
and are now engaged to be married!

Ironically, it was I who asked T46 to contact John and let him know I was interested, since according to the fifth-century Irish legend, Feb. 29th was the only day that unmarried women could propose to men! In the US, this morphed into Sadie Hawkins Day, although some people stick to the November date given this name from the L'il Abner cartoon. Sadie Hawkins Day or not, he said yes and the rest is history!

I've attached our engagement photo. We'll be married in Petaluma in just two weeks, on New Year's Eve!

I hadn't dated in years because I wasn't meeting single men through my social circles. So, I decided to join "Table for Six." I liked the idea of meeting people in a group setting, rather than the pressure of a 1-on-1 date with a total stranger.

I met Bob at my first "Table for Six" dinner on March 17. We were told that Bob would be arriving late, so our group sat down to order dinner. Later, I noticed a guy walk into the restaurant, and I immediately thought to myself, "I hope that's Bob", and it was!

Thankfully, the open chair at the table was seated right next to me. There was an immediate connection when we made eye contact, but we were both a little shy. We both provided feedback to the "Table for Six" coordinator that we were interested in getting to know one another better.

Anyway, the night we had our first 1-on-1 date, we talked for 4-1/2 hours. We knew this was something special, so got all of the "heavy topics" out of the way in terms of what we were looking for. For example, Bob is divorced and has 50% custody of two teenage boys. He wanted to make sure that I was okay with that (which I was).

We saw each other every night, and talked for hours on the phone when separated. Within 5 days of our 1st date, we were engaged. We are going to be married October 2nd.

We have so much in common and are always on the same wavelength. We laugh so much when we're together. We've met each other's friends and family, and feel that we fit perfectly together.

Bob is one of the kindest men I have ever known. He makes me so happy. He is an excellent father to his boys, and has welcomed me into his family. I will be moving in with him and his boys this Summer.

I have to thank "Table for Six" for bringing us together. I've never been happier.

In our wildest dreams neither of us expected to meet the love of our life. Let's face it, we are no longer young and idealistic. I thought it would be great to go out for a nice dinner and good conversation once a month. Rob thought his daughter would leave him alone about his social life. Table for Six® seemed to be the ideal choice for both of us. It would provide us with a life outside of work.

Little did we know that we would be meeting our perfect friend, lover and partner for life on a rainy night in Burlingame. Out of character for both of us, each for our own reason, we decided to attend the black tie Gala Event this past February. It was love at first sight, or at least by the end of a Cinderella evening.

Rob and I embarked upon our own form of speed dating and asked to have our Table for Six® membership frozen. This speed dating led to a world wind engagement and we were married before our friends and family had gotten used to the idea of us dating.

I guess you could say that we are big fans of Table for Six®! Thank you Christine, Dee and everyone at Table for Six®.

I hope you're doing well. Just wanted to send you a picture of Peter and I. Thanks so much for thinking of us and many, many thanks for allowing us to meet. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary in September and welcomed our new addition, Amelia, this year as well!

He was my perfect match, who filled up the void in my life. He was the one person who made me feel whole. And yes, from the first time we met, he made me feel like a princess. On October 12, after knowing each other one month short of 2 years, we got married in St. Nicholas Cathedral in Los Angeles. It was beautiful ceremony followed by a memorable evening celebrating our first few hours as husband and wife. It was definitely the happiest day in my life and I will relive that day in my mind for years to come. Maybe fairytales do come true!
